Welcome! My name is Rachel and I'm the photographer behind Reflecting Grace Photography. I have been married 10 years and I am mother to 4 beautiful children. My love for photography began long ago but I first determined to learn myself my fourth child was born in 2008. I was hooked and couldn't, and still can't, learn enough. I am very thankful to do something that I love and that also blesses other people!
Birth is also a passion of mine and I have experience as a birth doula. I began taking my camera to document births for the parents and found that I love telling the story through my images as much as I love supporting moms through the journey of birth. In birth photography, my two passions unite! Birth is a sacred and private time and my goal is always to be in the background, trusted, yet indiscreet. As the story of the birth unfolds, I already begin to envision how Ill retell it to the new parents!
Being the wife and mommy I need to be is my top priority but I am so, so thankful I can do pursue photography and be mommy! I love seeing the grace of our Father reflecting in His children, and I hope, through my photography, to reflect it again in a way that can be treasured forever.
